Places I Like: Resorts World Manila

I'm no gambler so it was quite surprising that I ended up having a great time at this place called Resorts World at Maxims Casino Hotel. It was actually just by accident that I got there because me and the boyfriend were supposed to surprise his cousin Sara Polverini (Playboy Cover Model, Ex- child actress) by watching her group Eurasia perform but we had no idea the place they would be performing at would be a casino. Sadly we missed the performance (because we lingered on for too long when we had dinner at Galileo Enoteca) so we just decided to wait for her to come out the backstage and enjoy the place for the meantime. The very first thing that caught my attention would be the enormous circular stage set up in the middle of the bar which will greet you as soon as you enter the casino floor (and since they dont allow picture taking inside the casino all I could show you is this drawing they have on their facebook page) after watching a bit of the entertainment they had going on we directed our attention towards the gazillion slot machines they had after which I discovered for myself why so many people get addicted to this game and why they call it the one armed bandit. All in all it was a fantastic first time experience for a casino virgin like myself and me and the boyfriend are actually thinking of coming back and learning to play the tables as well and hopefully next time actually get to see Sara perform.
